Grated carrots cooked in milk, ghee and nuts. Perfect for a cold winter evening.
Ingredients
- 1 kg Carrots, Grated
- 1 Liter Milk
- 7 Green Cardamom Cloves
- 7 Tbsp Condensed Milk/ Khoya
- Cinnamon, a Pinch
- 6 Tsp Ghee
- 3 Tbsp Cream
- 25 gm Cashew Nuts
- 25 gm Almonds
- 25 gm Raisins
- 250 gm Sugar
Method
Step 1
In a pan, add grated carrots, milk, green cardamom, condensed milk and grated cinnamon.
Step 2
Cook them all together and let the carrot absorb the milk.
Step 3
Add ghee into the pan and mix it well.
Step 4
In a different pan, saute add ghee, cashew nut, almond and raisins.
Step 5
Add the fried dry fruit mix into the pan and add some cream into it. Mix them well.
Step 6
Serve hot.
