Bhuna Ghosht

Lip-smacking chunks of mutton teamed with desi flavours and cooked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 500 gms Boneless Mutton
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Dhaniya Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Jeera
  • 2 Dry Red Chillies
  • 1 Tsp Peppercorns
  • 1, 1/2 Tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 1 Tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Jeera Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Dhaniya Powder
  • 100 gms Browned Onions
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 250 ml Tomato Puree
  • 1 Tsp Meat Masala
  • 1 Tsp Kasuri Methi Powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 2

Add dry red chillies, peppercorn, pounded dhaniya seeds & jeera.

Step 3

Now add mutton & let it brown.

Step 4

Further add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, jeera powder & dhaniya powder and add water.

Step 5

Allow to cook.

Step 6

Add brown onions, green chillies , salt.

Step 7

Add water & let it cook.

Step 8

Add tomato puree & let it cook again.

Step 9

Finally add meat masala & kasuri methi powder.

Step 10

Plate it, garnish with coriander leaves.
